Needlefelting Workshops

Come and try this exciting new felting technique at Jaynes studio in Dumbleton, Gloucestershire. The workshops will not only cover the basic principles of hand needlefelting, using the clover tool, but each student will have their very own embellisher machine for the day. These machines look very much like a standard sewing machine except there are five barbed needles instead of thread and a bobbin. The needles mesh fibres together creating fantastic opportunities for appliques, embellishments and feltmaking; you are welcome to bring along any plain knitwear to revamp and customise or you could make a project from scratch with the materials provided. Groups are small (no more than 5 students) so that everyone can tailor the class to suit their vision of what they would like to achieve! The technique is incredibly simple and suitable for complete beginners and competant crafters alike.

£25 per person for either an afternoon or morning session, all materials and equipment will be provided.

Day workshops at £55 per person to include an organic lunch.
